TO PREPARE FOR THE AUDITION: For the audition you are required to prepare two selections of your choice. The selections can be from the solo repertoire or orchestral repertoire. Each selection should be two minutes long. We would like to hear a fast, technical segment and a slow lyrical segment. We will be listening to your intonation, phrasing and rhythmical abilities.
• If you are accepted, be aware that each orchestra member contributes an annual donation of $100.
• Our rehearsals take place on Wednesday evenings from 7:00-9:30PM at the audition location.
• We have openings for all Strings.
We do accept people outside of the medical community however we rarely accept members who are younger than college level. We are an adult orchestra and prefer to keep it that way.
